The JUNIOR & SENIOR Classroom is Designated for Children Ages 5 and Up. The BRIGHT STARS ACADEMY PRIVATE KINDERGARTEN CLASS Will Be In this Room During the Daytime School Hours if enrollment demands. In the Afternoons, the School - Age Children will Arrive for Lots of Planned Activities. Bussing May be Available for Local Elgin Schools for Children in Grades 1 through 6. Kindergarten Students may Enroll in Our Class or Mid-Day Bussing will be Available. Bussing For the Local Schools may Include: Century Oaks, Highland, Creekside, Illinois Park, Hillcrest and St. Thomas More. Other Schools May be Considered Dependant Upon Bussing & Time Schedules. During the Months of June, July and August, A Fully Active Summer Camp Program is Implemented for this, and All Classes.	Our Professionally Trained Staff Help Kindergarten Students in the Junior Classroom and School-Age Students in the Senior Classroom Develop Good Character Traits and Manners Through Encouraging Respect & Responsibility. All Children Are Treated Equally and are Expected to Respect their Peers, Teachers, Parents, the Classroom and All Equipment at Bright Stars Academy. Teachers are Good Role Models and Help Children Understand Qualities such as Empathy, Concern, Kindness, Sharing and Happiness. Homework Help and Challenging Activities are Offered on a Daily Basis During the School Year. During June, July and August; Summer Camp Activities are Fun and Exciting Every Day. All Children are Encouraged to Engage in Activities that Keep them Busy and Happy During their Time at Bright Stars Academy.  All Classes are Based Upon Groupings of Children together with a Qualified Teacher and Assistant if necessary.  One on One Care is Not Available at Bright Stars Academy.

These Senior Class Students went to Sonny Acres Pumpkin Farm with Miss Anita and Mr. Jeff. They each chose a Pumpkin to take back to Bright Stars Academy to carve into funny faces for Halloween. Some of these children said that they had never been to a Pumpkin Farm before. What A Wonderful Day!
DROP-IN Care is Available for Days of School District Closings. This Includes: Institute Days, Teacher In-Service Days, Certain Holidays, Winter Break, Spring Break and Summer Recess. Special Activities and / or Field Trips may be Planned. Slight Additional Fees may be Required Depending Upon the Trips or Activities Planned. Parents Will be Notified in Advance of Any Special Events.	Bright Stars Academy likes to Celebrate at the School for Special Occasions. Birthday Parties for the Children are lots of Fun. Holiday Parties are Celebrated for Valentine's Day, Halloween, Christmas and New Year's. During the Christmas Season the Classes like to Sing Festive Songs for their Families. It's a Great Opportunity for friends and extended family members to come and see a Child's Class, meet their Teachers & Friends and Celebrate the Festive Season. The Kindergarten Class will take part in a Graduation Ceremony in late May each year. The Kindergarten Families are encouraged to come and Celebrate each child's Accomplishments while Succeeding in an Important Building Block of Education and of Life.
"Bright Stars Academy has a Fully Accredited KINDERGARTEN CLASS in the Senior Room each day. Kids that are 5 years old by September 1st can Enroll for this Private Class.
